Earlier this spring, we came across a moody shot of the 17-story Wat Samphran Temple in Khlong Mai, Thailand. We found it both beautiful and whimsical, and the members of the Nation of Nmds seemed to be just as impressed when we posted the photo to Instagram. This is one of the most unique Buddhist temples in the world, and while it is rarely featured in guidebooks and far-removed from the typical tourist track, it is well worth a visit. The best part? You can actually climb the building to an access point on the roof for an incredible perspective and the opportunity to touch the dragon’s beard and talons.
