Lofty Goals for Los Angeles Closer to Being Reached

With our outspoken ambition of making California a key retail hub for the brand, we are delighted to share that we now have two incredible partners in Los Angeles – Blackmarket in the trendy Sawtelle area of West LA, and the dreamy Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood. 

“We identified California as an important market for the brand very early on, and expanding our retail footprint in the area has been a major goal of ours for a long time,” says CEO and co-founder, Robert Conzato. 

After an extensive and meticulous search, a shortlist of stores and potential partners was created. Because the new partnerships would be the first retail connection in California, it was important to identify and work with established, beloved, and reputable businesses. That was why, after having first launched a partnership with “R by Rolo” in San Francisco, the attention was turned to the greater Los Angeles area. 

In partnering with the Mondrian Hotel, the brand will be introduced to fashion-forward customers in one of the most discerning and style-centric micro-communities in the world; West Hollywood. The hotel, most famous for its breathtaking views and rooftop pool, recently benefited from a 19 million dollar renovation, spearheaded by influential interior designer Benjamin Noriega Ortiz. This luxury boutique hotel, which encompasses everything that people love about the strip, will sell products from Nation of Nmds in its freshly curated lobby store.

Blackmarket, on the other hand, is the go-to destination for the latest and greatest fashion pieces in Los Angeles. Located in the buzzing and vibrant Sawtelle area of West Los Angeles, they receive constant praise for their ability to curate retail spaces that attracts customers and inspires potential shoppers to learn more about emerging brands.
